Run by our fully qualified Coastal School Leader. we are based on the beach at Thorpe Bay Corner near the bastion. Here we explore the rocks for sea crustaceans, investigate the rock pool for crab identification and search along the strand line.
Holistic Balance
Outdoors having fun, taking in the fresh air, in a natural environment. It is great for our well-being, great for our bodies, what could be better, a perfect balance.
Making New Friends
From cloud watching to playing games, it's so lovely to watch new friendships evolve. Regardless of what school they go to, its always fun with others.
Beach Club
Along with after school activities two times a week, we have a beach club every Saturday morning and during school holidays. With a unique name given to each group, starfish, seahorse etc. sessions run for six weeks.
Smiles All Around
Being a seaside town, learning about safety near the water, understanding our eco system, while educating our children on the importance our impact can have on the planet.
We keep You In The loop
Social Media, pictures are memories, something we are all about creating. We also have a dedicated WhatsApp group for parents to stay in the loop.
Coastal School is part of Forest School and our leader completed their training with Essex Wildlife Trust to give your children the best knowledge and fun.
