We were lucky enough to have hosted Martin Day and Su Harrison along with their breakfast show producer Jamie for a paddle boarding lesson.
Following a conversation on the show early one morning as they watched many paddle boarders on a mill pond estuary saunter past as they looked out from the studio window.
After much banter between the two, Radio Essex and producer Jamie decided it would be a great idea to book them up and get them out on the water for a lesson.
What transpired was a fantastic day on the water with Su and Jamie who took to paddle boarding like ducks to water and left Su hooked and craving more.
Martin watched and took photos from the side lines while egging Su amid words of encouragement plus some heckling in true Martin & Su fashion.
We can honestly say what a privilege it was to teach them and spend quality time with two people we have listened to and admired for many years.
