To start the new year off on the right foot, or the left if you prefer, we have started a running group that will initially meet once a week.
The group will meet every Tuesday at 6.30pm on the seafront adjacent to Lifstan Way and the session will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes in duration.
To blow out the cobwebs we will commence with a Couch to 5k program and utilise the NHS Couch to 5k app. A mixture of run and walk segments to build you up slowly.
Each week the group will meet to run together and between sessions will use the app to complete the other two runs featured in the program.
Anyone is welcome to join us regardless of experience and upon completion of the 9 week running program we will be introducing regular runs.
So if you would like to join us, lace up your trainers and don your preferred running clothes and meet us at the location mentioned above.
