Saturday Morning’s Cycle

Every Saturday our pedal pals meet opposite the cafe in Southchurch Park for a leisurely ride lasting around an hour or so.

All bikes and abilities are welcome to join us, what’s great is seeing a range of different bikes, kit and clothing from the varied participants.

Meet time is around 08.50 for a 9am set off with our direction of travel and mid point destination being a group decision with a couple of short pit stops.

We always like to include a local landmark or two along the route, a great opportunity for a quick photo, and ensure we pass by a couple of the local amenities.

The ride concludes for those feeling thirsty with a coffee or drink of choice, and some food if you’ve worked up an appetite.

Rides are led by a qualified ride leader, first aid trained and dbs checked, and many of the cyclists are excellent with any unplanned repairs that may be required.
