Monday the 17th May was Blue Therapy’s first social paddle of the year and with the government’s easing of restrictions 22 paddlers took to the waters off of Two Tree Island for a long awaited venture.
The wonderful www.FreakFlops.co.uk were present for our maiden outing of 2021 and brought along with them a selection of their incredible eco friendly hand made products for everyone to cast their eyes over.
Lots of banter beforehand as everyone set up with many exchanging hugs before heading to the launch area. The excitement on everyone’s faces plain to see and lovely to see smiles and laughter in abundance.
The half way point offered time for more catch ups and some rehydration as some showed off board skills while others sat with their legs in the rather warm water before it was time to head back to the start point.
A great first paddle and some lovely to see faces new and old. With more socials already in the calendar and our regular Tuesday evening socials now officially returning, we look forward to seeing more of you on the water soon.
