A LITTLE ABOUT SARAH-JANE
From a young age out fishing with my dad on his boat to now volunteering as Station Officer at HM Coastguard. I have always been drawn to the water. For me living by the coast, the smell of the fresh sea air, walking my dogs barefoot on the beach and enjoying a BBQ with friends on a late summers evening is priceless.

8 years ago I discovered paddle boarding and just had to give it a go, so with board and paddle in hand I took to the water and from that moment I was well and truly bitten by the bug. Friends and family asked me to show them how to stand up paddle board and before I knew was booked on an instructor course and I have since taught more than 2000 people to SUP or kayak and enjoyed sharing my passion for this wonderful sport with every one of them.

On my journey so far I have created many amazing memories and had the pleasure of being part of some great experiences, From filming for Channel 4's 'How to Get Fit Fast' to being interviewed on various national radio stations, paddling under the watchful eye of 5 x Sup World Champion Casper Steinfath. I have also won British Caneoing Lockdown Hero 2020 and Southend City Unsung Hero 2022.

I have always been a huge fan of pay it forward and Blue Therapy became my passion to give back to the community along with helping people become active. This begun in 2019 with Del and myself, fast forward to 2023, Im still as passionate about paddle boarding and everything we do, I'm always learning to improve myself and coaching.

Fun Fact: Sarah has a fear of seaweed & has been stung by a Jelly fish twice and has been chased by a crab.
